     In 2008 we moved this event to the Benton County Fairgrounds. We moved the event in order to restore the Christmas atmosphere we lost by not being able to carpet the floors in red in the Three Rivers Convention Center. Well, that was part of the reason. The Convention Center also had a problem with our event and hockey games not having enough parking, at the same time and the facility was getting more difficult to move in and out of. There were other less significant issues but, we were excited about the move. We had a lot of shoppers complain that the show had lost it's "spirit" and we didn't like that opinion. Well, the move was a huge success! As a number of attendees put it, "The Christmas is back in Christmas Memories. 

     In the last few years the area has blossomed significantly with new residence and business construction, to the point that if you haven't been through in the last six months, you won't believe it. The area is far less dependent on the Hanford employment than it used to be. In fact, the ups and downs in employment levels there no longer have the devastating impact it used to have. Folks have made this a regional shopping area and Christmas Memories is it's regional holiday event! We get calls throughout the year from people in other cities who want to plan some vacation around our show dates. As always, parking is free (and the fairgrounds has a giant parking lot) and our admission is good all weekend (a concept that has been adopted by most of the other Northwest events though, frankly, we were the first!). You don't want to miss this, the 19th annual Christmas Memories!

  • Take I-5 S/I-90 E ramp toward PORTLAND
  • Merge onto I-90 E via the exit on the left toward BELLVUE/SPOKANE
  • Merge onto I-82via exit number 102 toward RICHLAND/PASCO
  • Merge onto WA-240 via exit number 5A toward KENNEWICK
  • Take the US-395 S exit toward KENNEWICK/UMATILLA
  • Take the COLUMBIA DRIVE ramp
  • Stay straight to go onto W. COLUMBIA DRIVE
  • Turn RIGHT onto N. GUM STREET/WA-397 S. Continue to follow WA-397 S.
  • Turn RIGHT onto E. 10th AVENUE
  • Turn LEFT onto S. OAK STREET
  • BENTON COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS is on the LEFT side.

  • Take I-84 toward PORTLAND AIRPORT/THE DALLES
  • Merge onto I-82 via exit number 179 toward HERMISTON/UMATILLA

  • Turn RIGHT onto W. 10th Avenue
